About Iris Photography

As one of New Mexico's leading wedding photographers we work to provide unique and elegant images and provide a timeless memory for our customers. We look more for emotion and intrigue than for a novel prop or background. We are a home-based business shooting on location or in our builtin studio in Rio Rancho (just north-west of the Albuquerque Metro area). Location pictures (outdoors or in your home) allow your pictures to show not just a personality, but also a familiar environment. Much of our equipment is portable allowing us to give you a professional image in your setting. We also do have our home studio for those who are more comfortable in this environment and want that ''studio look'.

In each wedding we shoot we use a variety of styles including traditional, artistic and photojournalistic photography. If we had to choose which style best represents our philosophy it would be photojournalistic. We want to be a part of your wedding, but not a disturbance. We will take family posed shoots and elegant couples as well as a lot of candid and "captured moment" shots. We love the details, the emotions, and the joys of weddings. We believe that a wedding photographer should be considerate and fun. We want you to be comfortable with us. Weddings are stressful enough as it is.
